چکیده

In this paper we develop a dressing method for constructing and solving some classes of matrix quasi-linear Partial Differential Equations (PDEs) in arbitrary dimensions. This method is based on a homogeneous integral equation with a nontrivial kernel, which allows one to reduce the nonlinear PDEs to systems of non-differential (algebraic or transcendental) equations for the unknown fields. In the simplest examples, the above dressing scheme captures matrix equations integrated by the characteristics method and nonlinear PDEs associated with matrix Hopf-Cole transformations.

Matrix equations of hydrodynamic type as lower - dimensional reductions of S - integrable systems

We show that any classical matrix Q × Q S-integrable Partial Differential Equation (PDE) obtainable as commutativity condition of a certain type of vector fields possesses a family of lower-dimensional reductions represented by the matrix Q × n 0 Q quasilinear first order PDEs solved in [29] by the method of characteristics. In turn, these PDEs admit two types of available particular solutions:...

Maximum principle for quasilinear stochastic PDEs with obstacle

We prove a maximum principle for local solutions of quasilinear stochastic PDEs with obstacle (in short OSPDE). The proofs are based on a version of Itô’s formula and estimates for the positive part of a local solution which is non-positive on the lateral boundary. Our method is based on a version of Moser’s iteration scheme developed first by Aronson and Serrin [2] in the context of non-linear...
